The tmnxDhcpsAddrAllocationFailure notification is generated when a DHCP server instance could not allocate an address for a client. This notification is generated for DHCP server instances with the value of tmnxDhcpServerCfgAddrType set to 'ipv4(1)'. The tmnxDhcpSvrNotifMsgHwAddress object indicates the MAC address of the client. The tmnxDhcpSvrNotifString object indicates the reason. [CAUSE] The tmnxDhcpsAddrAllocationFailure notification is generated when a DHCP server instance could not allocate an address for a client. The reason could be that the DHCP server instance could not find a free address, or it could be a configuration issue. [EFFECT] The client does not get an IP address lease this time. The client will have to try again if it needs a lease from this system. [RECOVERY] The recovery action, if any, will depend on the reason.
