The tmnxPtpPortNeighborTable contains information on the neighbor PTP clocks communicating using direct transport of PTP over Ethernet and visible to the local PTP clock. Table entries are created automatically by the system upon reception of PTP Ethernet multicast packets from neighboring PTP clocks. Individual table entries are deleted automatically by the system if no PTP packets are received from the neighbor clock for a period of time.
