MIB Viewer

About MIB Viewer

MIB Viewer is a free, searchable database of SNMP MIBs and OIDs, built to solve a problem anyone who's worked with SNMP has run into: Finding the OIDs you need or conveniently looking up the ones you already have has historically been cumbersome.

What we're building

At its core, MIB Viewer is a large, continuously growing database of parsed MIB files - both the standard, cross-vendor MIBs every device supports and the enterprise-specific MIBs published by individual hardware vendors. Search by MIB name, by OID, or by object name, and see exactly where an object sits in the tree, what it means, and how it's typed - without needing to load anything locally.

How the database grows

We add new MIBs on an ongoing basis, and anyone can contribute one directly - drop a MIB file into the upload tool and it's parsed and explorable immediately. Files uploaded this way stay private to that browser session by default; only MIBs we've reviewed and added to the shared library show up for other visitors.

What we're aiming for

Our goal is simple: keep MIB Viewer free, keep it accurate, and keep expanding what it covers, so it becomes a more complete and more reliable resource over time.
