When an existing feature ID is being considered for use in a new product, the firmware developer and/or EMS developer will confirm it with the Systems Feature Administrator. This will serve two purposes. It will keep the Systems Feature Admin aware of new products from a features point of view, which is obviously important to his role. And it will help the firmware and EMS developers to better understand how a particular product is similar or dissimilar to others that they may be drawing information from. * All feature IDs will be documented by the firmware developer in the Product Style Guide.
