The (conceptual) table listing the cienaCesPmInstanceIndex values for each row as identified by its unique combination of indexes, as specified by: cienaCesPmInstanceInterfaceType, cienaCesPmInstanceInterfaceId, cienaCesPmInstanceInterfaceId2, and cienaCesPmInstanceProfileType. This table allows for direct lookup of a cienaCesPmInstanceIndex by for each PM Instance that has been created automatically by the system. This table provides lookup for PM Instances which are defined in the cienaCesPmInstanceTable with a cienaCesPmInstanceConfigurationMode value of auto. By providing this direct method of determining a PM Instance index for a given interface and profile type, an agent can more rapidly perform a subsequent query of the applicable table underneath the cienaCesPmStatistics branch to directly query statistics for the given interface and profile type.
