It specifies the PSID for a PBB port. It is applicable only for CNP S-tagged and C-tagged ports. Whenever a packet comes without S-Tag on a CNP Stagged port then the P-ISID is used to get the VIP. Whenever a packet comes without C-Tag on a CNP Ctagged port then the P-ISID is used to get the VIP. Hence the Pisid, if configured, has the highest priority in deciding upon the ISID to which an incoming frame is classified.
