Description
The number of uplink (GTP-U) packets dropped by this GGSN-U PIC. Note: This counter cannot be retrieved by CLI. Packets can be dropped for a number of reasons, including the following: The packet is classified as unauthorized after packet inspection The packet is an IPv6 link-local packet There are errors in the GTP header There is no PDP context There are general IP header faults No SGSN entry is found IP-in-IP encapsulation is missing for packet inspection IP-in-IP encapsulation provides wrong packet length The IP version is other than IPv4 or IPv6 No GGSN-U/I application is available The packet cannot be forwarded to an GGSN-U/I application for classification The packet cannot be sent A certain type of IP traffic (IPv4/IPv6) is not allowed A bandwidth limitation is defined for the APN, and the limit is exceeded The packet is a broadcast message from an MS The IP packet source address does not match the IP address assigned to the MS by the GGSN There is no free memory left in U-PIC
