Monitor alarm serial number (SN) is the unique ID of the alarm Trap. It is used to resend and synchronize alarms. When the value exceeds the maximum value, the system automatically clears If the network management system (NMS) recieve the alarm number is not consequential, in such case that it notifies the SNMP agent the alarm number required. So the monitor send the 100 alarm messages in maximum, after consequencial number required by NMS again. Specially, if NMS set the value to 0, the agent would clear the alarm queue automatically.
