A table containing filtering information for Unicast MAC addresses for each Filtering Database, configured into the device by (local or network) management specifying the set of ports to which frames received from specific ports and containing specific unicast destination addresses are allowed to be forwarded. Entries are valid for unicast addresses only. Two modes of operation are supported by this table. When the receive port index is non-zero, this table is supporting an 802.1D filtering database as specified in 14.7.6.1. If the receive port is zero, the table is operating as specified in 802.1Q 8.8.1 and 12.7.7. An agent must at least support the 802.1Q mode of operation.
