The maximum burst size in bytes that the interface can sustain. This is semantically similar to the Bc for FR and MBS for ATM. This value is used by IP-QoS. For PPP links this object should be given the value of the speed of the lower link. For MP this value is the sum of the speed of all the lower PPP links. If the value is not specified then the system default values are taken based on the type of interface.
