The value indicates the existence of optional ports (which are not Line or DTE). The value is a sum of 2**n, where n is a bit assigned to a certain port. For bit assignment see modem's specification. For ASMi-52 SA, the bit assigned for Alarm Relay port is 0, therefore Agent will return '1' if this optional port exists. Value of '0', means that no such optional port exists.
