Software can set the contrast setting to -125, -100, -75, -50, -25, 0, 50, 75, 100, and 125 to select the different tonemaps. A user can also set the value to -127, which is a special mode used by manufacturing to tell the device to use all linear tonemaps and to perform no gamma correction.
