When the manager sets the value of this variable to activate (3), the application recollects all the active alarms from I/O cards or other entities and sets the value of this variable to off(2). This command is useful, for example: if there was a switch between main and redundant cards and the user wants to recollect the alarms that were missed during the switch. When activateWithTraps (4) is set, same operation as activate (3) is performed with an additional operation: Device will send raising traps for all active alarms.
