Time interval in seconds for the Hold Time configured for this BGP speaker with peers in this peer group. For individual peers, this can be configured using bgpPeerHoldTimeConfigd. This value is placed in an OPEN message sent to peers in this peer group by this BGP speaker, and is compared with the Hold Time field in an OPEN message received from the peer when determining the Hold Time (bgpPeerHoldTime) with the peer. This value must not be less than three seconds if it is not zero (0) in which case the Hold Time is NOT to be established with the peer. The value of this object is only allowed to be zero (0) if the value of bgpPeergrKeepAliveConfigd is also zero (0). The suggested value for this timer is 90 seconds. This field can be changed at any time. However, if a peer is configured to use the peer group field and the field is changed while the peer is active, depending on the setting of the bgpPeergrResetPeerOnCfgChange field, the peer session may either be immediately reset, or the configuration change is not applied until the peer session is restarted.
