SCSI Controller Time-outs. This is the number of times, since the driver was loaded, that the SCSI Hardware Interface driver issued a SCSI command but did not receive a reply within a specified amount of time. Timeouts may occasionally occur when a device fails to process a request because the SCSI bus was busy. If this value should rise dramatically, you may have a problem. Check if you have any non-disk SCSI devices, like tape drives, on the SCSI bus with the drives. Sometimes a non-disk device can hold the SCSI bus for long periods of time causing time-outs.
