This column is used by the operator to request that the protection group state machine perform some administrative operation. The operator requests a command by writing the command value to this column. The command may or may not affect the operation of the state machine based on the current state and the ELPS protocol indicates the result of this command on the state machine by setting the value of the fsElpsPgCmdExtCmdStatus column of this table. If the command is not accepted, then the fsElpsPgCmdActiveRequest indicates the last accepted and currently operating request for this protection group. The configuration of this object is allowed and meaningful only when the the protection group entry for this fsElpsPgConfigPgId is active. The default value for this object will be 'clear' command indicating that no command has been issued. The 'freeze' command is volatile and will not be restored after a configuration save-and-restore operation.
