A system is in recover-mode to represent an error state that requires manual intervention. Several specific sanity checks are done during system startup, and if any of them fail the system will enter recover-mode. While in recover mode, the following happens: - the reason for the recover mode can be visualized in the ne recover-mode-reason attribute - a system-wide alarm RECOVER-MODE is raised - CLI sessions get an extra banner at login reminding the user the current system state - connection to existing line cards is severed, effectively keeping previous hardware configuration untouched - new configurations are accepted, but will not take effect until the recover mode is cleared Recover mode can be resolved in multiple ways: - simply confirming that current configuration is the desired one - restoring a valid Database backup In all cases, the recover mode requires an explicit command to be cleared. Use command 'clear recover-mode' to confirm current configuration and return to normal system operation. (!) Warning: clearing the recover mode may have traffic impact; please confirm settings before this action. default value :true
