If this object is disabled(2), then no traffic segmentation. When we set it to enabled(1), there are three conditions for the traffic segmentation. (1) If without plugging in option module, port 1 is the server port. (2) If plugging in one-port module, the port on the module is the server port. (3) If plugging in two-port module, these two ports on the module are the server ports. Under this situation, other ports(Client ports) can only communicate with the server port. Client ports can't communicate with each other.
