Description
The value of configuration register that will be used by the supervisor module when the system is restarted. This MIB object is only supported in systems with supervisor modules having ROMMON support. The lowest four bits of the configuration register (bits 3,2,1, and 0) form the boot field and the boot field determines whether the system boots from as the following: 0000 0001 images on the bootflash 0010 to 1111 images specified in the sysBootVariable The bit 5(0x0020) indicates whether the configuration file specified in sysStartupConfigSourceFile will beused recurringly or not whenever the system resets. If this bit is not set, the configuration file(s) specified in sysStartupConfigSourceFile will only be used once and the value of sysStartupConfigSourceFile will be reset to empty string automatically during the next system reset. If the bit 6(0x0040) is set, the system will start with default configuration. The bits 11,12 (0x0800, 0x1000) are used to specify the console line speed in ROM monitor mode as the following: 00 01 10 11 The unspecified bits are not used.
