The VPWS pseudowire (PW) binding type. This field specifies the identifiers used for the PW to which the AC is bound. If the PW is provisioned in the pwTable, then it is identified by an index into the pwTable MIB. In this case, this field must be set to pwMibIndex, and the pwTable MIB index must be set in vpwsBindCfgPwSetIndex. If the PW is created as a result of BGP auto-discovery, then it is identified by a local and remote VE ID. For a VPWS, the VE ID is equal to the VPWS Site ID. In this case, this field must be set to lclRmtVeId, and the remote VPWS Site ID for the PW must be set in vpwsBindCfgRemoteSiteID. The local VPWS Site ID is the value set in vpwsConfigLocalSiteID. It is not valid to set this field to lclRmtVeId unless auto-discovery is enabled (vpwsConfigADType = bgp). If this field is set to lclRmtVeId for any other value of vpwsConfigADType, then vpwsBindCfgOperStatus is set to operStatusFailedPerm. Changing this value will cause an interruption to data flow from this AC onto the VPWS.
